Day 1 – Hanoi arrival
Hanoi-mobile-flowershop-Oriental-Colours.jpgWe will pick you up at airport then transfer to hotel. The rest of day is at your leisure. We recommend you to take a slow walk around Hoan Kiem Lake, which is very scenic, so remember to bring your camera. In walking distance from your hotel, you can go to Thang Long theatre where you can enjoy traditional Vietnamese water puppet show. Another option is to do some shopping, you will find plenty of shops in the old town as well as street night market. Should you wish to taste famous Vietnamese coffee, you will find many coffee shops in French style with a view to the lake. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 – Hanoi City Tour
You will be picked up for city tour at around 08:15 am, then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore thehanoi-people-vietnam-holiday-Oriental-Colours.jpg architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). 12:00: Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, the Guide will take you to visit either Bat Trang pottery village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri) or the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat). Then, visiting the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. At the end, journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Tour ends around 16h00 - 17h00. You will be dropped off back to your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3 – Hanoi - Halong Bay
You will be picked up at around 08:15 for 3.5 hour trip to Halong Bay. Enjoy the journey through Red River Delta with lush rice fields, water buffalos and everyday Vietnamese rural life. After we arrive in Halong, check-in on cruise and relax for a while, then have Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay. In the afternoon, Visiting Halong Pearl Farm Village, and Swimming in the bay. As the sun sets over the bay, dinner is served on board. In the evening there will also be a cooking demonstration of one or two typical Vietnamese dishes. Leisure time for squid fishing and/or karaoke. Overnight in Ha Long Bay at the cruise ship.

Day 4 – Halong Bay - Hanoi 
06.30: Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi lesson on sundeck. 07.00: Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast. 08:00 Arrive Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) and joining with guide to visiting and explore the cave. 10:00 Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay. 11:00 Enjoy the lunch on cruise. 12:00 Landing Halong Bay harbor, return to Hanoi by shuttle bus. Getting back to Hanoi. Overnight in Hanoi.
Day 5 – Hanoi fly to Hue
Free time unitil being picked up for airport transfer for your onward flight to Hue. Overnight in Hue.
Day 6 - Hue City Tour
hue-citadel-vietnam-holiday-Oriental-Colours.jpgYou will be picked up at 8.30 am then transfered to visit the Imperial Citadel, this was the center of power for the Nguyen Dynasty who ruled between 1802 and 1945. Here, we will visit Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City. We will board a boat for a wonderful trip on Perfume River and a visit to Thien Mu pagoda where you will enjoy a vegetarian meal prepared by the local nuns. The afternoon continues with a visit to the fantastic tombs of the emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Our guides will give you a deep understanding of the King’s philosophy of geomancy and how this affected royal life. The rest of day is at your leisure. You are free to discover the ancient city by your own. Overnight in Hue.

 Day 7 - Hue Private Transfer to Hoi An
After breakfast at hotel, you will be transferred to Hoi An by private car. The car ride takes you around3.5 hours through Hai Van pass, which is very beautifully scenic. Upon arrival, check in hotel. Leisure time. Overnight in Hoi An.

 Day 8 - Hoi An - My Son Sanctuary 
My-Son-Sanctuary---Hoi-An-Tour---Oriental-Colours.jpgOur guide will pick you up at around 8.15 am and take you to My Son, a World Heritage site, 50 kmsouthwest of Hoi An. You will learn about the Cham history and how this massive sanctuary was built. My Son is a complex consisting of more than 65 architectural towers and temples dating back to 4th century. The site was used for religious ceremonies for Kings of the ruling dynasty as well as burial site for national heroes and royal family up to the 19th century. My Son is considered to be of same historical significance as Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor Wat in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. After the visit, you will be taken about 30km by bus and embark on boat for the trip along the Thu Bon River back to Hoi An. Time for relaxing and leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9 - Hoi An Free and Easy 
Breakfast at hotel. You have a free day to relax and explore Hoi An charming ancient town at your own pace. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10 - Hoi An/ Da Nang fly to Nha Trang
Breakfast at hotel. Afternoon, check-out hotel, transfer to Danang airport for flight to Nha Trang. Overnight in Nha Trang.

Day 13 - Nha Trang fly to Ho Chi Minh City
After breakfast, leisure time until airport transfer for your flight to Ho Chi Minh City. On arrival, you will be picked up and transferred to your hotel. Leisure time. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 14 - Visit Cu Chi Tunnels
We start our tour at 8 am from hotel and head to Cu Chi tunnels which is about a 1.5 hour drive. Cu Chi is a network of more than 120 km under the ground and were built by sweat and blood of Vietnamese guerrillas to hide and fight against the rival forces. You will be introduced to many kinds of booby traps used during the Vietnam war. We will take time to explain the methods of creating, maintaining and living in these tunnels as well as the special technique of hiding smoke invented by the guerrillas. The visit also includes visiting different type of underground halls, secret working, meeting rooms. You will spend an hour experiencing the tunnels with a guide. Afterwards, enjoy tea and cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Before finishing the tour, you can watch a short (15 minutes) documentary about the tunnel. Return to Ho Chi Minh City Centre for lunch at around 2.30 pm. Tour comes to a close with a drop-off at your hotel. 

Day 15 - Ho Chi Minh City Free and Easy
Today is at leisure. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 16 - Ho Chi Minh City Departure
After breakfast, leirsure time until airport transfer to airport for your homeward flight.
