Day 1 – Hanoi arrival (B)
On arrival, you will be picked up and transfer to your hotel for checking in. The rest of the day is at leisure. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2 – Hanoi city tour (B, L)

You will be picked up for Hanoi city tour at around 08:00 - 08:30 am, then visit the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to explore the architectural and historical aspects of Uncle Ho’s final resting-place. Just next door is Ho Chi Minh’s house on stilts and lying to one side of the Mausoleum is the One Pillar Pagoda, which was founded by King Ly Thai To in 1049 - the structure has become an important symbol for the people of Hanoi. Then continue on to the Buddhist Tran Quoc Pagoda at West lake (One of the oldest pagodas in Vietnam). 12:00: Lunch at local restaurant. In the afternoon, the Guide will take you to visit either Bat Trang pottery village (applied on Mon, Wed & Fri) or the Ethnology Museum (apply on Sun, Tue, Thu & Sat). Then, visiting the Literature Temple and Quoc Tu Giam, see Vietnam’s first university, constructed in 1070 - it’s gardens and well-preserved architecture will offer a relaxing glimpse into Vietnam’s past. Take you past Hoan Kiem Lake to see the peaceful waters, and the beauty of Ngoc Son temple. At the end, journey through Hanoi’s Old Quarter, where you’ll then have a chance for some shopping and exploration. Tour ends around 16h00 - 17h00. Then it is back to hotel for pick up your luggage and transfer to train station. Stay overnight on sleeper train going to Sapa. 

Day 3 – Sapa trekking (Visit Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai –Ta Van) (B, L, D)

The guide will meet you around 9.00 am to start the day tour. Walking from Sapa towards Muong Hoa valley to enjoy the picturesque sceneries of Hoang Lien mountain ranges, meet and get to know the daily life of Black H’mong tribes. Trek through terraced rice paddies and hill tribe villages along the Muong Hoa River. We then cross the suspension bridge towards Zay (Giay) people’s domain, the Ta Van village. Stay overnight in a local homestay. 


Day 4 – Sapa trekking (Visit Giang Ta Chai - Su Pan - Sapa town) (B, L, D)

Start trekking at 9:30 am to visit 2 villages of the red Dzao, the H’mong (Giang Ta Chai & Su Pan). Visit a beautiful waterfall and rattan bridge. Enjoy landscapes… through bamboo forest on the way to the main road to get the jeep to return to Sapa. Tour finish in Sapa by 3 PM.





Day 5 – Sapa freeday - Hanoi (B)
After breakfast at hotel, you have a free day to discover Sa Pa town at your own pace until train station transfer back to Hanoi. Overnight on train.

Day 6 – Hanoi – Halong Bay (B, L, D)

On the way we stop at a handicraft workshop for a short break. Enjoy the journey through Red River Delta with lush rice fields, water buffalos and everyday Vietnamese rural life. After we arrive in Halong, check-in on cruise and relax for a while. Then we lift anchor and sail to visit Sung Sot caves where we have one hour for kayaking. We will be cruising between the many lime stones and set anchor at beautiful spot. As the sun sets over the bay, dinner is served on board with fresh seafood, salads, and fruits. In the evening there will also be a Vietnamese dish cooking class. Overnight in Ha Long Bay at the cruise ship.

Day 7 – Halong Bay – Hanoi (B, L)

The new day could be start by a Tai chi session (if you are keen on). Breakfast will be served on the boat around 7.30 am then you will have more time to enjoy a wholesome brunch as your boat weaves through the magnificent limestone karst formations on your return towards Halong City. Upon disembarkation, you will be transfered back to Hanoi for onward flight to Hue. One stop at a workshop in Hai Duong province for lunch break. Arrive to Hanoi at around 16.30. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 8 – Hanoi free day (B)
A free day in Hanoi for relaxing and shopping. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 9 – Hanoi - Hoi An (B)
After breakfast, we will have some leisure time until airport transfer for flight to Da Nang. Upon arrival, you will be picked up and transfer to your hotel in Hoi An for check in. The rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 10 – Hoi An countryside biking tour (B, L)
hue-citadel-vietnam-holiday-Oriental-Colours.jpgAfter breakfast at resort, you spend a day leisurely cycling though the scenic countryside of Vietnam, far from the traffic the motor scooters, and the noises the city. You will cross the islands on the Song Thu river delta using local transportation, including ferries and floating bridge. This tour will take you to discover how wooden river boats are made, learn the secret of weaving the colorful straw “Hoi An” sleeping mats. Try the renowned Vietnamese basket. You will spend the day with first-hand contact with one of the rural inhabitant of the region, far from the usual tourist circuits. At lunchtime you will be invited into the home of a local Vietnamese family for a traditional Vietnamese meal, and learn their
customs and traditions. After you have relaxed for a while under the shade of a mango tree, you will begin your return towards Hoi An, which will take about an hour.

Day 11 – Hoi An freeday (B)
Leisure day to discover Hoi An ancient town at your own pace. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 12 – Hoi An transfer to Hue (B)
After breakfast, you have free time until pick up time to transfer to Hue by car. Arrival in Hue, check in hotel, and the rest of the day is at your leisure. Overnight in Hue.








Day 13 – Hue city tour (B, L)
You will be picked up at 8.30 am then transfered to visit the Imperial Citadel, this was the center of power for the Nguyen Dynasty who ruled between 1802 and 1945. Here, we will visit Flag Tower, Noon Gate, Nine Dynastic Urns, Nine Holy Cannons, Thai Hoa Palace, and the Forbidden Purple City. We will board a boat for a wonderful trip on Perfume River and a visit to Thien Mu pagoda where you will enjoy a vegetarian meal prepared by the local nuns. The afternoon continues with a visit to the fantastic tombs of the emperors Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. Our guides will give you a deep understanding of the King’s philosophy of geomancy and how this affected royal life. The rest of day is at your leisure. You are free to discover the ancient city by your own. Overnight in Hue city.

Day 14 – Fly Ho Chi Minh City (B)
You will have some free time until airport transfer to Da Nang airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City. Upon arrival, we will pick you up and transfer to hotel in Ho Chi Minh for check-in. Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 15 – Visit Cu Chi tunnel (B, L)
After breakfast at hotel, you will be picked up at around 07:45 and drive to Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi is a network of more than 120 km under the ground and were built by sweat and blood of Vietnamese guerrillas to hide and fight against the rival forces. You will be introduced to many kinds of booby traps used during Vietnam War. We will take time to explain the methods of creating, maintaining and living in these tunnels as well as the special technique of hiding smoke invented by the guerrillas. The visit also
includes visiting different type of underground halls, secret working, meeting rooms. You will spend an hour experiencing the tunnels with a guide. Afterwards, enjoy tea and cassava (guerrilla’s food during the war). Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Overnight in hotel.

Day 16 – Mekong Delta full day (B, L)
Pick up service at your hotel around 8:00 - 8:30 am then depart for My Tho. On arrived at My Tho, visit Vinh Trang pagoda, take a leisurely boat ride along the river, you can see the stilt houses, fruit plantations and fishing villages along the river bank. Proceed to Tortoise islet, have lunch in the orchard garden. Then a boat ride to An Khanh in Ben Tre, we will visit a family business which epitomizes the idyllic rural lifestyle, taste the delicious coconut candy & observe the pastoral life as you roam through the fruit plantation and village. We will then enjoy cruising on a hand-rowed sampan under the shadow of the water coconut trees along natural canals then enjoy seasonal fruit & honey tea to the sound of "Southern Vietnamese folk music", performed by locals. Meet the bus and return to Saigon. Overnight in Saigon.


Day 17 – Ho Chi Minh City free day (B)
You will have a free day to relax and explore Ho Chi Minh City on your own.Overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 18 – Ho Chi Minh Departure (B)
After breakfast, you will have some leisure time until airport check out for your onward flight. End of services.
